Is getting a tattoo painful?

Pain tolerance varies from person to person, but most people describe the sensation as a sharp scratch or a slight burning feeling. The level of discomfort also depends on the tattoo's location on your body—areas with more flesh tend to hurt less than bony areas. Our artists will work with you to ensure you’re as comfortable as possible throughout the process! Some would even say getting a tattoo is RELAXING and THERAPEUTIC!

No need to worry, we will work around your comfort level to make sure this is a GREAT experience!

How do I choose the right tattoo design?

Choosing the right tattoo design is a personal decision. Start by thinking about what’s meaningful to you—consider symbols, quotes, or images that hold significance. You can also browse our portfolio for inspiration or consult with one of our experienced artists who can help bring your vision to life. We specialize in CUSTOM tattoo designs as well. So bring us your idea, and we'll bring it to life!

How should I prepare for my tattoo appointment?

To prepare for your tattoo appointment, make sure you're well-rested and have eaten beforehand. Avoid alcohol and caffeine, as they can thin your blood and increase bleeding during the tattoo process. Wear comfortable clothing that gives easy access to the area where you’ll be getting tattooed. If you have any specific design requests or health concerns, discuss them with your artist ahead of time.

How do I take care of my new tattoo?

After getting a tattoo, proper aftercare is crucial to ensure it heals well and looks great. Keep the tattooed area clean and moisturized, and avoid picking or scratching at scabs. Follow your artist's specific instructions, which typically include washing with mild soap, applying a thin layer of ointment, and avoiding sun exposure or soaking the tattoo in water (such as swimming) for at least two weeks. If you notice any signs of infection, contact us immediately.
